The Feast Of Tabernacles

Learn the foundation of the Feast Of Tabernacles here in Leviticus 23

The Feast Of Tabernacles is the last of the 7 yearly Biblical Holy-days. It is part of the fall festivals.

(The number 7 means completion)

The spring festivals represent the completed prophesies of Yahushas coming, and the fall festivals are known to represent the return of Yahusha and the restoration of the world from His return, the yet to be fulfilled prophesies.

The Feast Of Tabernacles is a Biblical Thanksgiving. It is a week of Thanksgiving to Yah and remembering what He has done for us through His Mercy and Grace.

We are to remember everything He has done for us. The booths/tabernacles are used to reflect the wandering in the wilderness, and how Yah provided provisions for His people after the Exodus in Egypt.

Because of this, most people follow the directions of this appointed time of Yah and go camping, or pitch tents in their backyard.

The Feast of Tabernacles/Booths is also known as Sukkot in modern Israel. I would like to point out that this is not a Jewish Holy-Day meant only for the Jews to celebrate.

It was not only given to the Jews. It was given to all the children and tribes of Israel.

Not only is it NOT a Holy-Day for the Jews. The Feast Of Booths is quoted in scripture as an appointed time of YAH! It belongs to Him, and it is for us!

In the Old Testament, the people of Israel would make booths out of branches and leaves and they would live in them for the entire festival, remembering their deliverance from their bondage in Egypt.

There are two rituals the High-Priest would perform during this festival. The first one is with water.

They would draw water in jugs from the pool of Siloam and carry it to the temple to pour over the alter while reciting:

Isaiah 12:3 “Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”

In John chapter 7 Yahusha is in Jerusalem at the time of the Feast Of Tabernacles, although He first hesitated to go with the others (because the Jews sought to kill Him) He went silently after the others had left.

He is before the Temple during the Feast and He declares:

John 7:37-38 “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the scripture has said, from his heart will flow rivers of living waters.”

The pouring of the water over the alter represents the water that flowed from the rock that Moses struck. Yahusha is that water from the rock to quench our thirst.

The second ritual is the lighting of the Temple. There were 4 pillars burning oil before the Temple. People would carry torches from all over Israel to Jerusalem for this Feast. It must have been a sight.

Yahusha stands before the pillars of fire and says:

John 8:12 “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life”

The pillars of fire represent the pillar of fire that led Israel at night through the wilderness. Yahusha is the pillar of fire that leads the way through the wilderness.

Then, He heals a blind man in the pool of Siloam where they draw he water, who goes forth proclaiming Him as the Messiah. This made the Pharisees very angry, because they did not believe.

Yahusha is our coming restoration, our Tabernacle of rest, our ultimate provision.

He is the pillar of fire that leads the way. He is the water from the rock that quenches thirst in the wilderness of sin.

He is the Manna from Heaven. He is The Sabbath rest. He is our Thanksgiving.

During this Feast Of Tabernacles reflect how Yahusha has delivered you from spiritual Egypt/the bondage of sin. He has given us water and salvation. He has given us light for the way.

Yah bless you this Feast, and enjoy Biblical Thanksgiving with your family and friends!

Within I share all my personal revelations and 'Truths' that I have learned over the years. I enjoy studying the Bible, Law, Health, Politics, History, Science, Geology, Astronomy, Astrology, Anatomy, Linguistics, Lexicology, Etymology, Numerology, Cymatics…and everything in between. Embrace the pursuit of Truth as I discover and share how we have been disconnected from creation. I will expose the artificial construct that we are all programmed to live in, and how it has devastated the race of mankind. Our people are depressed, we are unhealthy, overweight, we are sick, stressed, and we don't know what to do. We can feel that something isn't quite right but we can't point it out. Tap below to join me in my journey of educating, exposing, and reconnecting with the natural state and intent of God's creation, and obtaining our higher mind. I hope to see you there. Your Brother in Christ, Nate.

John 8:32 "You shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall make you free.”

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 16:13 "However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all Truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."

John 15:26 "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me."
