Bioluminescence

Bioluminescence is the effect of chemicals produced in a body (usually known among animals) which in turn produces light emitting from the body.

bio·​lu·​mi·​nes·​cence bī-ō-ˌlü-mə-ˈne-sᵊn(t)s : the emission of light from living organisms (such as fireflies, dinoflagellates, and bacteria) as the result of internal, typically oxidative chemical reactions

also : the light so produced bioluminescent

Bioluminescence is an extraordinary feature our Creator has manifested into His Creation. You can find bioluminescence almost anywhere in the world.

Our oceans produce algae that’s bioluminescent. We have fireflies, glowworms, click beetles, and a wide range of jellyfish, fish, and squids that are all bioluminescent.

We even have fungi and bacteria that produce their own bioluminescence, including mushrooms.

Bioluminescence leaves me in awe when I consider the Maker of Heaven and Earth and His artistic design. Nothing is more incredible and wonderous than nature.

The wonderous abundance of bioluminescent sea creatures...

In 2009 there was a study done by Japanese scientists led by Masaki Kobayashi who discovered bioluminescence in persons!

The findings were a result of studies done with machines that measure light, and the light might be 1000 times lower than what's visible to the naked eye, but still!

He PROVED that people emit light, and that we emit light more directly from our faces than any other part of our bodies. His studies concluded that these findings are directly related to our metabolism.

What Does It Mean?

These studies stunned the scientific community, but honestly I'm not very surprised. There are many accounts in scripture that describe such accounts. The one that I think most disciples in Christ are familiar with is the account of Moses on Mt. Sinai, when he spent 40 days with God in the clouds, seeking His glory.

Another instance, in the lost books of the Bible "The Forgotten Books of Eden" Adam declares...

1 Adam and Eve 4:2 And indeed, when Adam looked at his flesh, that was altered, he cried bitterly, he and Eve, over what they had done. And they walked and went gently down into the Cave of Treasures.

1 Adam and Eve 4:8 And Adam said to Eve, "Look at your eyes, and at mine, which before beheld angels praising in heaven; and they too, without ceasing.

1 Adam and Eve 4:9 But now we do not see as we did; our eyes have become of flesh; they cannot see like they used to see before."

1 Adam and Eve 4:10 Adam said again to Eve, "What is our body today, compared to what it was in former days, when we lived in the garden?"

Adam says they could look up to the sky and see the angels singing praises to God. He is depressed by the change of his appearance.

It is by my inner-standing that when they were created and living in the full Glory of God, their bodies shone as bright lights.

Many scholars also provide that God is light Himself, the very highest existence of light in creation.

Yahusha (Jesus) also shines as a bright light in all of His glory as He reveals Himself to Paul in Acts 9 then scales fall from his eyes after he is temporarily blinded.

From what I can tell, we truly are beings of light, created in the image of our Father. In our fallen state our bioluminescence is not as obvious but in our glorified bodies, this is who we truly are.

This revelation collides with cymatics, the vibration and sound of all things, and transient light is the highest vibration of all. Our vibrations have fallen from our intended state of creation.

We are now unnatural. And what we would before consider unnatural is really how we are supposed to be. If that makes sense.

Death is unnatural, hunger, sickness, tiredness, it is all unnatural. Our bodies are designed to live forever, naturally. God is natural. Sin is unnatural. In being disconnected from our source The Creator we now live in this fallen state.

Everyday the clues continue to surround us of our original state of being but we are now fully distracted by the artificial man made construct that has separated us from nature.

What a shame it is. To be in this fallen state. Yet how glorious it will be to become redeemed.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

John 12:36 "While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.

Luke 11:36 "If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.”

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
