King James Version Matthew 5: 25-26

Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing.

Eunoōn tachy tō sou antidikō heōs hotou ei en tē hodō mē pote antidikos paradō se tō kritē kai ho kritēs tō hypēretē kai blēthēsē eis phylakēn

Amēn legō soi exelthēs heōs an apodōs ton eschaton kodrantēn

Reconcile quickly with your adversary, while you are still on the way [to court]. Otherwise [he] may hand you over to the judge, and the judge [may hand you over] to the officer and you may be thrown into prison.

Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.

Salkinson-Ginsburg Hebrew N.T. Matthew 5: 25-26 (Read Left To Right)

maher hashׁalem mysh ryvkh b'odekh' amo baderekh' fnysgyr it'kha iysh ryvkh biydey hshft vhshft ysgyrkh b'yad hashׁ'tar v'hu yit'n'kha l'veyt hasahar׃ vaaniy amen amar l'kha kiy lo taaleh mishׁam ad asher t'shalem thfrvth hchrnh

Make peace with your rival quickly while you are with him on the road, lest your rival hand you over to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the constable, and he will put you in jail.

And I tell you, you will not come up from there until you pay the last penny.

Yahusha continues to expand on the 6th commandment in these verses, instructing others how to become a peacemaker for Yah.

He specifically makes a point to continue seeking for peace even while you are on the way to see the judge!

There is a concept in this verse, that the Judge is Yah, the adversary is satan, and jail is the punishment within fire.

Hate within our hearts may cause far more extreme consequences than we may realize.

Hate will lead to destruction for our own lives, and the lives of others.

Hate is where murder is born.

It is absolutely necessary for us as disciples of Christ to seek peace and love in all of our relationships.

We will send another study for the evening of Pentecost starting the evening of June 6th! Have a blessed Sabbath! I pray this week and this study bless you fully. If you have any questions/requests you can reach me directly by replying to this email.

God bless you,

Nate
