Sabbath Bible Study

What makes The Sons and Daughters of Yah any different than anyone else in the world? Is it the fact that we have faith? What good is our faith if we treat each other, or others by the way of the world?

Good vibes and bad vibes is the thing now-a-days. Every one is out to match energy. The thing about that is they are on to something, because we are all energetic beings.

But what would make me any different than my enemy if I treated him the same way he treated me?

Yah's Word says we will be known by the fruits of our works, and by our love for one another.

Matthew 7:16 "You will know them by their fruits..."

John 13:35 "By this all will know you are my Disciples, if you have love for one another."

We cannot fight fire with fire. This verse means that we are all apart of the same system, the same rules of Yahs nature, whether good or bad. Nobody is exempt from the evils of this world, we are all fair game.

The only way to distinguish a Son or Daughter of Yah from anybody else is by our love. When we love our enemies we are walking in the example of Yahushas character, which is the 3rd commandment.

Exodus 20:7 "Do not take My name in vain..."

This means do not make the Character of Yah meaningless.

To walk in Yahs Character is to walk in love, because He is Love.

1 John 4:16 God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

It is immature to try and give back only what we get. To love our enemies is to be a pillar for our community. And to rise above the desires our flesh when it comes to treating people.

This is a whole lot of biting our tongues, patience and prayer, and doing what we don't always feel like doing. Like being nice to someone who we don't believe deserves it. Or, loving and forgiving someone who has hurt us.

Like I said earlier, we can't fight fire with fire, and we can't fight hate with more hate. Love is the answer. Only love can bring the change we want to see in the world.

It seems so simple right? Why is it so hard to be good to each other?

Love, forgiveness, and repentance is the whole of the entire Gospel.

This Sabbath lets spend time focusing on our relationships with others, and how we can be a better example of Yahushas character for them.
