The Sabbath Recall

Shalom Pentecost [FIRST NAME GOES HERE] !

Today is the 50th day AFTER the 7th Sabbath from Passover!

(By The Way...sorry for the typo in the last email. Sundown on JULY 6th, to sundown on July 7th is Pentecost...Not June 6th)

Pentecost Bible Study

Pentecost is the celebration of the giving of the Law, the 10 commandments, from God on Mt. Sinai to Moses. The New Testament Pentecost Celebration is the giving of the Holy Spirit upon Yahushas ascension up into Heaven, the giving of the Law upon our hearts.

Studying the Lunar Sabbath and learning to follow the Creators Calendar may be confusing at first. There is a lot to learn about how it all works together with nature.

When it starts to click, you begin realize how true it really is. His appointed times and seasons can never be altered or changed by man.

Leviticus 23 explains all of our Holy Fathers appointed feasts that we are commanded to keep, FOREVER.

I don't know about you, but it seems clear to me regardless of what any preacher might have to say about it, or the Old Testament for that matter. God says to keep these feasts as a sign between Him and His people throughout all of our generations, FOREVER.

Verses 15-22 speak about the Pentecost specifically.

15. And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: 16. Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD. 17. Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD. 18. And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD. 19. Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. 20. And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest. 21. And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. 22. And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.

Verse 16 is used often by those who disagree with the Lunar Sabbath. They claim that it proves the Lunar Sabbath to be a false doctrine.

Most translate this verse as a 7 Sabbath count along with a 50 day count from Passover to be the Pentecost.

They couldn't be more wrong. THE LUNAR SABBATH DOCTRINE IS ONE OF THE MOST PROFOUND BIBLICAL DOCTRINES I'VE EVER LEARNED.

And the same goes for the Pentecost as well.

The way in which verse 16 is worded in its KJV translation has most of the body of Christ celebrating the Pentecost sometime in May. They call it Pentecost Sunday.

This is the first red flag since the grapevine must be ripe and never will you find a ripe grapevine in the middle of May.

The verse truly states to number 50 days AFTER the 7th Sabbath from Passover. So, after 7 Sabbaths, then count 50 MORE days for Pentecost.

Verse 16. "Even unto the morrow AFTER the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days..."

You may have one lingering important question such as, what about the 40 days of Yahushas appearing to His disciples...How does that line up with 100+ days of a Pentecost count?

You might have even more questions...

There is a short book I read that I'm going to share with you right here. It is an amazing read, and Brother Arnold Bowen does an amazing and thorough job explaining in detail the Biblical Doctrine of this count.

I would recommend anyone and everyone to take the time and read it. It will truly be a blessing.

Celebrating the Pentecost according the the new law doesn't include sacrifices, or drink offerings of any kind.

At most, we like to light candles, say prayers, read some scripture, maybe sing some songs, have a family meal, spend time together.

Make a spiritual offering unto the Father, whatever He puts on your heart. It might be a day of fasting, or a day to try a new Biblical recipe.

Yahusha is always our ultimate sacrifice so always sing praises to Him and give thanks to God for what He has done for us through His Son!

Celebrate Pentecost by reflecting on the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit and enjoying this healthy fruit salad recipe!

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self control: against such there is no law.

Acts 2: 1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Have a blessed Pentecost! I pray this study blesses you fully. If you have any questions/requests you can reach me directly by replying to this email.
